Prudent Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd. is Ajit Singh Dhingra’s brainchild, an IIT graduate and a member of MENSA. Prior to founding Prudent, he ran successful businesses, taking them to great heights by his radical approach, business acumen, and technical expertise. Ajit Singh Dhingra is a visionary and a first mover into the Indian insurance broking industry, making him an important voice of the industry. His past associations and networking have helped give direction to Prudent and build it to what it is today.

Co-founder & Joint Managing Director

Pavanjit Singh Dhingra is a co-founder of Prudent Insurance Brokers and has played an important role in building and strengthening the organisation. As Joint Managing Director, he has been closely involved in driving its operational evolution and building the capabilities required to support its growth.

His experience spans business operations, technology, client servicing, and organisational development. He has been instrumental in driving technology-led transformation, strengthening systems and processes, and developing scalable capabilities across the organisation.

Pavanjit also plays an important role in building key institutional and client relationships. His focus on technology, operational excellence and people has helped Prudent evolve into a more connected, responsive, and future-ready organisation.

Co-founder & Joint Managing Director

Gurpal Singh Dhingra is a co-founder of Prudent Insurance Brokers and has been central to its growth from the very beginning. As Joint Managing Director, he plays a leading role in shaping the firm’s business strategy, identifying growth opportunities and building strategic relationships with corporate clients.

With experience spanning business strategy, sales, marketing and business development, Gurpal has helped strengthen Prudent’s brand and market position and drive new business initiatives. His entrepreneurial approach has contributed to Prudent’s ability to compete with larger domestic and global players.

His engagement with the WBN network has deepened his understanding of international business and the evolving needs of multinational clients, further strengthening Prudent’s capabilities in serving leading corporate businesses.

Principal Officer & CEO

Mr. Vijay Rampal is a Stalwart in the insurance industry with over 35 years of experience, which includes serving in a PSU General Insurance Company and two renowned insurance broking companies as a Principal Officer and CEO. Vijay Rampal is a commerce graduate from Pune University. He joined Prudent Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd in March 2013. Prior to this, he was Director & CEO at Mata Insurance Advisory & Broking Services Pvt. Ltd. and was responsible for setting up their insurance broking unit. He likes to network and learn constantly.

Member Executive Board – Reinsurance

Sathish Mathur strongly believes that passion for one’s domain is a key driver to building successful organisations. With a career spanning three decades across financial services, IT, and insurance, he has been an integral part of early start-ups, as well as established and growing organisations. He has a penchant for corporate sales and strongly believes that a consulting-led approach is the only sustainable mechanism for building an insurance or a reinsurance book of business.

Member Executive Board, Reinsurance

A veteran with over two decades of experience in Insurance Broking. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Risk Management Company and has expertise in establishing sustainable and profitable business ventures, building effective and efficient business culture, recruiting and training leadership teams across the functions, and adept knowledge of Insurance and Reinsurance across the classes. A Chartered Accountant, Master of Commerce (Finance and Economics), Micro MBA Graduate, and a Fellow Member of the Institute of India, he is an avid reader and learner. He believes learning and improvement are continuous processes that can be taken up at any time. Ever since he joined the insurance industry, he has been preaching client satisfaction through innovation, servicing, and adapting to new-age technologies.

Chief Marketing Officer

Alok is an experienced Marketing professional with nearly two decades of experience at strategic levels encompassing, brand strategy and communications, campaign management, customer engagement, lead generation, and digital marketing. He has been instrumental in transitioning a couple of well-known insurance brands in India. He has a proven track record of developing innovative marketing solutions, and customer engagement strategies via leveraging data insights to elevate brand consideration and revenue generation. His marketing acumen centers around customer centricity, brand purpose, and utilising digital channels. He holds his management degree from EMPI Business School, New Delhi, and has done his B.Com from Rajasthan University, Jaipur.

Chief Information Officer

Manoj Kern is a result driven Digital Transformation Leader with over 18 years of experience in operations, data management, risk, and security, claims and IT management within the insurance sector. He is Master' in Business Administration in banking & insurance and an Associate of the Insurance Institute of India, Delhi (AIII) and holds relevant certifications such as Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) from ISACA, USA, ISO 27001, 9001,ISO 19011.Manoj has developed comprehensive security & privacy frameworks, methodologies, and programs to protect information assets and ensure secure corporate and partner resources. He has been instrumental in developing new policy and standards that were deployed throughout the firm, as well as launching innovative solutions in risk and security. As the CIO of Prudent, his visionary ability and goal-oriented behavior has enabled the organization to quickly covert business requirements into solution offerings. Manoj is well connected within the CIO fraternity and has several industry recognition and accolades.

Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer

With a track record of spearheading people-centric initiatives and building performance- driven & inclusive workplaces, Manvinder joins Prudent as a Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer. She brings with her a multi-sectoral experience in strategic HR leadership, performance management, organizational development, and talent management. Her experience reflects a strong global exposure and adaptability across dynamic organisations. Over the years, Manvinder has played key roles in integrating culture and talent initiatives in addition to her impressive portfolio of driving employer branding and strategic DEI programs.

Chief Business Officer

Shantanu brings with him over 20 years of rich experience in driving strategic growth initiatives, claims advisory, and insurance broking leadership. His diverse experience in risk management positions him to deliver customized solutions that empower clients to excel in a rapidly evolving environment. With an impeccable ability to build strong teams and groom industry leaders, Shantanu has been a force behind several differentiated solutions in the insurance industry. His commitment to fostering strong stakeholder relationships and passion for excellence makes him a trusted partner and an asset to clients & colleagues alike.

Shantanu holds an economics degree from Delhi University’s Ramjas College and a business administration degree from K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research. His leadership ethos revolves around delivering measurable outcomes while adapting to changing industry expectations.
